Welcome to the e-conference on Measuring Behavioral Outcomes for Household Water Treatment and Storage
Orlando Hernandez - Monday 22 January 2007The USAID-funded Hygiene Improvement Project welcomes you to this e-conference on Measuring Behavioral Outcomes for Household Water Treatment and Storage Systems.
HIP expects that the conference will help generate final recommendations for USAID on how to track behavior change generated by interventions promoting household water treatment and storage. These recommendations will also be shared with the Monitoring and Evaluation Working Group of the International Network to Promote Household Water Treatment and Safe Storage.
I will moderate the conference, which is now open for discussion, and a daily summary will be sent out to all participants prior to the next day's discussion. The conference will run throughout the week and will conclude on Friday, January 26, at 4 PM EST.
You have already received a paper entitled "Measuring Behavioral Outcomes When Promoting Household Water Treatment and Storage" to help get this discussion started. This paper as well as other documents contributed during the week will be posted on the e-conference website under 'E-Conference Documents.'
You will not be able to include attachments in your responses. If you would like to share documents as part of the discussion, please send them to me directly at ohernandez@aed.org ( mailto:atohernandez@aed.org ). HIP reserves the right to review attachments before adding them to web site to facilitate discussion.
