Merri Weinger - Thursday 01 February 2007Hello everyone,
I am officially closing this discussion portion of the E-Conference on Measuring Behavioral Outcomes for Household Water Treatment and Storage Systems. On behalf of our team at USAID (John Borrazzo, Rochelle Rainey, and I), we have been very impressed by the critical feedback from colleagues in different parts of the world on behavioral indicators, safe storage, consumption of safe water and more. Thank you very much for your active participation.
This is the second in a series of e-conferences that HIP has hosted. I would like to extend special thanks to Orlando Hernandez, HIP’s M&E specialist, for moderating this conference and writing the conference background paper, to Patricia Mantey, HIP’s Knowledge Management Specialist, for her assistance in preparing for and running the conference, and Harry Oosterveen and Jaap Pels at the IRC International Water and Sanitation Centre in the Netherlands (a HIP partner), for co-hosting the e-conference and making sure things ran smoothly.
Stay tuned for HIP's next e-conference. We at USAID/HIP look forward to working with you in the field and continuing to chat on-line as we move toward improved water quality for those most in need - and more effectively measuring our progress.
Best wishes,
Merri Weinger
