TREND

Training, Research and Networking for Development (TREND) Group was established in April 1989. TREND was conceived within the framework of the International Training Network for Water and Wastes Management (ITN) Programme which was promoted by the World Bank and was one of four centres established in Africa under the Programme.

Its development has continued to be closely linked with the development of the Community Water and Sanitation Sector however, there have been key policy changes to ensure sustainability.
