Monitoring and Evaluation Framework for the Amhara Region "Learning by Doing" Program to Achieve Universal Hygiene and Sanitation. Dec. 2008

This framework was developed for the Amhara Regional State Health Bureau, with support from the USAID Hygiene Improvement Program and its partner the Water and Sanitation Program, to monitor the implementation of an at-scale hygiene and sanitation intervention in the region of Amhara. The Learning by Doing Initiative takes various levels of stakeholders through a process to ignite change at the regional, woreda, and community levels, bringing Amhara closer to goals of universal hygiene and sanitation by 2012.
